In a bizarre crossover event that breaks usual forecasts, the game developer has revealed an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.

Strange Mission Uncovered

According to the authorized statement, "A mysterious meeting leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where hints of forbidden practices and terrifying transformations reverberate through the shadows." The plot introduces a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a secret group.

The adventure focuses on "strange experiments and a terrifying adversary" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Iconic Places and Transformations

The preview features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer finishes with a striking moment showing a character, likely the hostage, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Items and Extra Features

Players who accomplish the mission will obtain an unique katana together with multiple objects secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also features in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
